The Muster – Rodeo & Music Festival is Perth’s biggest celebration of country culture, where adrenaline-pumping rodeo action meets electrifying live music performances. Part festival, part competition, rolled into an epic day of non-stop family-friendly entertainment. 

Disability access and inclusion features of the event site include:

PARKING: Accessible parking for ACROD holders and those requiring greater accessibility will be available. Drive through Gate 2 or Gate 8 and follow directions from traffic staff.  

VIEWING: Designated accessible viewing areas will be available for the Main Stage and Rodeo Arena. 

RESTROOMS: Accessible toilets (permanent) are available near the main entrance to The Muster. In addition, portable accessible toilets will be located around the event.

COMPANION CARDS: Companion Card holders will receive free entry in company of a full paying patron who requires support. 

ASSISTANCE/COMPANION DOGS: Certified guide, hearing and assistance dogs are permitted entry to The Muster. Owners must carry their identification card and ensure their dog is wearing the correct badge accreditation.  

Please note that throughout The Muster there will be noise, flash lighting, strobes, smoke, and other sensory effects. 

What is included in a family ticket?  

A family ticket is 2 adults and 2 children (aged between 5 and 17). All parties on a Family Ticket must enter together. For information on child ages and underage attendance, see next section. 

What is the policy for companion cardholders?  

Companion cardholders will be admitted free of charge provided they are with a paid ticketholder who requires the care. 

Can I buy tickets at the gate? 

All tickets must be purchased online. Tickets are not available for purchase at the gates.

The Muster is a cashless event.   

Do I need to print out my ticket? 

No. Tickets are issued electronically. Please just ensure you have your ticket ready on your phone for scanning at the gate. Alternatively, you can bring a printed copy. 

Children can attend the Muster, however, as a fully licensed event, children must attend with a parent or guardian and remain with them at all times. Anyone wearing a child wristband will not be served at any beverage outlet without their guardian present.  

  • What age is a child ticket for? 

Children aged 5 – 17 years inclusive can enter general admission on a child ticket, and will be issued a wristband for easy identification.

Children aged 0 – 4 can enter general admission free, and do not require a ticket.

All children must enter with, and be accompanied by, a parent or guardian at all times.  

  • Can children attend VIP?  

Children can attend VIP areas. However, they must purchase a full price VIP ticket, and be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

Note: All VIP tickets are adult price. Children can attend VIP providing they have an Adult VIP ticket.

Public Transport is included in the price of the ticket. Transperth provide regular train and bus services to the showground. 

Trains on the Fremantle line stop at the Showgrounds Station and buses 23, 24, 25, 27, 28, 995, 998/999 (CircleRoute) and 103 all stop close by.

Pre-paid parking is now full. No parking will be available on the day.

If you have purchased pre-paid parking, drive through Gate 8 and follow directions from traffic staff.  

Road closures will be in place, however drop-off vehicles, including taxi and ride-share, are permitted to enter the showgrounds.

Enter through Gate 2 and follow directions from traffic staff to the dedicated drop-off zone. 

The Muster is a cashless event.

There will be no ATM facilities available onsite. 

EFT points of sale will be available at each bar, vendor and exhibitor. 

Sealed water bottles will be permitted into the event.

Personal use water bottles will be permitted into the event provided they are empty. 

Drinking water will be provided free of charge at all bars and varied refill stations around the venue.

There will be two (2) main first aid locations as well as roving crowd care, if you feel unwell at any point. 

The Muster is a majority non-smoking / non-vaping event.

A designated smoking area will be available.

Unfortunately, there are no pass outs for The Muster as there are rules that prohibit exit and re-entry.

The event will have cloaking facilities, restrooms, first aid, food trucks, and refreshments for your safety and convenience.

For any lost property – please email commercial@raswa.org.au post-event. We will endeavor to respond within two business days. Collection will be responsibility of the owner.

RASWA holds no responsibility for any items lost stolen or damaged.   

With the exception of Companion Dogs, dogs are not permitted at the event. 

Yes. Small collapsible camping chairs and picnic rugs are permitted.

All items brought into the venue are subject to inspection upon arrival. 

Sealed water bottles will be permitted into the event.

Sealed plastic (no glass) bottles will be permitted into the event.

 

We are fully licensed which means that BYO alcohol is not permitted, however, there are plenty of drink options available for purchase from our food and drink vendors (including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options). Eskies are not permitted, and all bags will be searched on arrival by our security staff. All alcoholic beverages must be consumed within the event area and cannot be taken outside of the event. 

You can bring your own food to the event however we will have a great range of food vendors onsite. Whilst every attempt is made to ensure all dietary requirements are catered for, if you do have a specific dietary requirement, we recommend bringing your own food. All items brought into the venue are subject to inspection upon arrival (eskies and hard coolers are not permitted). 

Yes, the event is a licensed venue.

All 18+ patrons are required to have a valid/current photo ID (a current Australian driver’s license, current passport, or proof of age card) which must be presented upon arrival to our security staff. Upon entry into the event, you will receive a wristband. Please ensure you wear your wristband for the duration of the event. Lost or stolen wristbands will not be replaced. 

Yes, we will have a range of merchandise which can be purchased from our dedicated Merch stall. Merchandise can also be pre-purchased in advance online from the event website and collected on-site during the event. 

Any photographic, video or audio recording equipment for any purpose other than private non-commercial purposes, which includes, without limitation, video and/or audio recorders, camera tripods, monopods or lenses with a total focal length of greater than 200mm or any other commercial digital video equipment; 

Professional cameras or recording devices are not permitted.  

Patrons are not permitted to sell, license or otherwise publish, disseminate or reproduce (or permit such), whether in whole or in part, any recordings taken or made inside the Venue (including, without limitation, photographs, video recordings, data recordings or sound recordings); 

Phone cameras are allowed.

The cost is $5.00 per item for standard items and $15.00 per item for wagons/trolleys.  

Yes, absolutely! Head over to “Rodeo Drive,” our expanded shopping area! Get decked out in western wear, discover amazing crafts, and find all your rodeo and festival essentials!

Yes, please do not bring large bags, eskies/hard coolers, umbrellas, glass, alcohol, illegal drugs, weapons (including pocketknives), laser lights, fireworks, and anything flammable or deemed dangerous. Patrons found with these items will have them confiscated on entry. 

Other prohibited items include face coverings, balaclavas, musical instruments, whips, boots with spurs or other sharp implements attached.  

Patrons will have the option to cloak prohibited items. 

RASWA has worked closely with partners including ABCRA and Double Barrel Entertainment to develop and deliver the Rodeo element of The Muster. RASWA recognizes the importance of sound animal welfare policies in order to ensure animals are treated in a humane manner. RASWA and ABCRA does not condone the ill treatment or abuse of any animals whilst competing at rodeos.

All competitors are held to a strict code of conduct to ensure that the competition does not endanger the safety of any other persons or animal.

RASWA will have a vet and first aid teams onsite to ensure the health and well being of all animals and competitors is maintained at all times. Any breach in the code of conduct will be dealt with seriously.
