amy shepard

AMY SHEPPARD

Over the past ten years, fans have gotten to know Amy Sheppard as the bluehaired pop
powerhouse sharing international stages with her bandmates and siblings George and
Emma as the Brisbane trio behind the worldwide hit “Geronimo”, Sheppard.

This year, Amy embarks on an exciting new adventure as a solo country singer, embracing
change with the same vivaciousness and authenticity that has endeared her to so many as part of Sheppard.

Raised on country music when growing up in Papua New Guinea, Amy was finally inspired to start writing country songs after her first trip to the CMC Rocks Festival in Ipswich in 2019.

After recording in Nashville with awardwinning songwriter and producer, Lindsay Rimes
(Thomas Rhett, Kane Brown, Lee Kernaghan, The McClymonts, Kelsea Ballerini) and two years spent finessing the tracks during the pandemic, the project is finally ready to launch.

Combining Amy’s pop sensibility with subtle country arrangements and instrumentation such
as pedal steel and slide guitar, the new music also sees her experiment with storytelling
more than ever before. Eager to connect with fans new and old, Amy is primed for a solo
turn in the spotlight. The Sheppard story is far from over, but Amy’s new chapter is just beginning.
